Soul sand also generates in soul sand valleys as part of the surface terrain. Soul sand also generates in hoglin stables and housing unit bastion remnants. It is also found naturally in nether wart rooms of nether fortresses. Soul sand is found below Y=34 in the nether wastes, generally in four-block-deep layers.
